22-26 August. Procession and San Bartolomé Fiestas.
Yeste patron saint fiestas. Highlights include the running of the bulls and the release of heifers.
22 August. Llano Majano.
Watermelon, ravens, pisto sauce, bulls, and the countryside all come together on this day in the area of Llano Majano. The people meet to eat in the open air while watching the bullfights that take place as part of this fiesta.
24 August. San Bartolomé Procession.
Without a doubt the most important night of the fiestas. At 1 o’clock in the morning, just after the mass given in his honour, the Saint is carried up the hill, accompanied by chants, aromatic basil, bonfires and fireworks. The throne bearers dance with Saint Diana of Yeste and the party continues until dawn.
27 August. Tus Fiestas.
Fiestas in the village of El Villar in honour of the patron saint of Tus, San Agustín. Two days in which residents of all the hamlets in the area meet to enjoy some migas (a breadcrumb dish), shooting contests, traditional games, dances, and a procession after the mass in honour of San Agustín.
End of October. Folk Traditions Fair.
Fair about the history of Yeste and its traditional activities, showing off all the richness of the customs and traditions of the town of Yeste and its neighbouring hamlets. Featuring demonstrations, stalls, hand made items, the production of local products, etc.
